Enactus Kirori Mal

Enactus is an international non-profit organization that aims to use the power of entrepreneurial action to empower people and positively impact lives. It brings together a diverse network of students, professionals and industry leaders on a common platform to work towards creating a more sustainable world. Established in 2016, Team Enactus Kirori Mal College strives to uplift underserved communities through its social entrepreneurship projects. It is currently running three such projects, namely Dor, JanBhoomi and Syahi. Project Dor aims to empower a community of underserved migrant women from Bihar and Jharkhand while also reviving the traditional Indian art form of Tie and Dye. Project Janbhoomi aims to combat the problems of land degradation and waste management while also promoting an organic lifestyle through composting techniques. Project Syahi aims to tackle the plastic menace through paper pens while also providing income-earning opportunities to a community of underserved women.
