Enactus BRAC

Enactus is an international non-profit organisation present in 39 countries around the world, with over 67,000 students as active members. It is the world’s largest experiential learning platform dedicated to creating a better world while developing the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders and social innovators. The Enactus network of global business, academic, and student leaders is unified by a vision to create a better, more sustainable world. Since its inception in 2017, Enactus BRAC has undertaken several community outreach projects as part of this shared mission. Our running projects are 'Kumbhkaar', 'Roohaniyat', and 'Nirmaan'. Project Kumbhkaar is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering and uplifting the rural artisans of India while also promoting sustainable practises and environmental consciousness among the artisan communities, encouraging the usage of eco-friendly materials and techniques, and promoting the preservation of traditional craftsmanship while fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment. Project Roohaniyat, meaning soulfulness, aims to promote sustainable entrepreneurship as a means of driving social and environmental change. It is a B2C skincare brand that uplifts the LGBTQIA+ community by giving them a stable source of income and a sense of purpose. Project Nirmaan aims to revolutionize the way we view billboard waste by transforming it into valuable materials. Our focus lies in repurposing billboard vinyl waste to create innovative, sustainable products that serve both environmental and societal needs, promoting a circular economy and transforming waste into wealth for a brighter, greener future.
