Enactus Khalsa

Enactus SGTB Khalsa empowers students to show how business can be a powerful tool for creating opportunities where there are none. Established in 2019, Enactus Khalsa strives to foster a more sustainable world by instilling a strong sense of service and responsibility. Through our various projects, we actively work to uphold the core ideals of Enactus, emphasizing the importance of business and leadership skills in making a positive impact. Project Hifazat addresses the critical issue of waste mismanagement by supporting communities grappling with waste disposal crises. Through our initiative, the collected waste is transformed into high-quality compost, which is then marketed as seedballs. This approach not only resolves waste disposal challenges but also promotes environmental sustainability and supports local economies. Project Ehtiyaat, initially a hygiene-focused project, has evolved into a comprehensive initiative against single-use plastic waste. In partnership with Enactus CVS, it upcycles plastic waste into plarn, revive traditional handloom craftsmanship. This effort not only combats plastic pollution but also empowers artisans by providing them with financial independence while preserving cultural heritage. Project Poshan tackles undernourishment among underprivileged children by providing a low-cost, nutritious multigrain snack called Krispies. Developed with insights from pediatricians, nutritionists, and food technology experts, it targets children aged 4-10. The project not only enhances nutrition but also raises awareness, promotes equality, and supports economic empowerment. Project Naina is a project that enhances the access to ocular health for underserved communities by offering affordable eyeglasses and organizing free eye camps. It prioritizes raising awareness about eye health to ensure that residents understand the importance of regular eye check-ups. It seeks to make a significant difference in the lives of those with limited finance.
