At the European Network of Active Living for Mental Health (ENALMH), we believe in the transformative power of sports and physical exercise for mental well-being. Our mission is to revolutionize mental health services by integrating physical activity into therapeutic practices, offering a more holistic approach to care. We’re not just about improving services—we’re also committed to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental illness, promoting social cohesion, and advocating for the rights of individuals with mental disabilities. We know that regular physical activity can prevent mental health issues, and we’re passionate about making this connection widely recognized. Our members work tirelessly to support and facilitate sports and physical activities that enhance mental health. We also drive research and education to deepen the understanding of how physical exercise can positively impact mental well-being. On top of that, we push for policies at both European and national levels that recognize the critical link between sports, physical activity, and mental health. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. By partnering with other organizations, we aim to create a multidisciplinary, holistic approach to mental health that delivers real, positive outcomes. Based in Brussels, Belgium, ENALMH operates under the A.I.S.B.L. status, and we’re proud to be leading this important movement across Europe.
