EnBlock

EnBlock aims to lead the energy transition while fostering Renewable Energy Communities (RECs). The first targeted market is Italy. Using a blockchain technology, EnBlock platform provides safe and immutable track of energy record feed by IoT connection. Furthermore, EnBlock is a climate-neutral energy system developed with green software practices. The main services are: ✦ Manage the community (members verification and on- off-board); ✦ Tracking energy consumption, creation, and allow Peer2Peer and B2C green energy supply within the same community. There are several additional services that will be offered at a latter stage, for instance: ✦ Accounting, storage, and trading of Renewable Energy Credits (ReCs) generated in the community. The value of ReCs has more than doubled since the start of 2023 and are now a key asset for companies to off-set their activities; ✦ Creation of an indisputable ESG report for the companies that are part of the REC. The platform is highly scalable across Europe. RECs will be the heart of the new cities’ architecture and main driver to achieve the 2030 European target defined in the European Renewable Energy Directive II (RED II).
