ENCODE is a registered office established in Alexandria, Egypt since 2011, where its team members are on an interdisciplinary team interface that adopts Computation, bespoke innovative design, and digital fabrication offering to its clients: Architectural, interior and product design services. Our Philosophy: ENCODE believes that design is not a noun, or synonyms to ‘style', but rather a verb of production, problem-solving, an added value, and a holistic business process. ENCODE architects are challenging the conventional model of design production adopting different cutting edge technologies, research and collaborating between education, practice and manufacturers to create an international hub of design that can thrive in today’s economy. Mission: Encode mission is challenging a critical design business agenda as there is a real sense of urgency for a kind of critical design in the Middle East where we need to move from imitation to innovation. The design industry in the Middle East should be developed to be in front with the global market, especially that its communities are nowadays consuming design more than ever. Along with their experience in fabrication which undertakes a unique strategy based on cutting edge technologies of CAD & CAM based on the mathematical and material logic ofNatural systems, ENCODE is well connected to the design market, business, and manufacturers on both local and international levels. The team knowledge and expertise in the field of computational design through research and studies at prestigious and specialised schools and in Europe including, schoolofParis-Malaquais, UCL, ETH Zurich and school of Architecture in London.
