Changing demographics, aging populations, and economic challenges present a bleak future of Newfoundland and Labrador’s workforce. Without intervention, our province could lose 16% of our workforce by 2036.
Encore: aims to reimagine how we look at older workers and their ongoing role in the economy. Our summit addresses the necessity for some older workers to remain in the workforce after the age of 65.
Encore: is the first step in a new stage. It’s time to talk about the training, programs, support, and culture we need to create to help our older workers work longer and happier.
