Annually, we produce around 400 million tons of plastic waste. 91% of this plastic is not recyclable and will end up in landfills or nature. The OECD predicts that if we don’t reduce plastic waste, by 2050 we will produce around 1230 million tons of plastic waste.
The WWF estimates that the plastic industry consumes 1.5 billion m3 of water annually, corresponding to the annual water consumption of 400 million households.
With EndPlastic and our product, we are trying to reduce plastic waste by 10%-90%, we want to reduce water consumption by the plastic industry, and we also aim to reduce the carbon footprint of plastic.
