Eneform has developed a proprietary continuous pyrolysis process that converts waste tyres and plastics into oil, steel, char and gas in a more capital and cost efficient way than the processes on the market today. Pyrolysis is a process that breaks down materials through extreme heat, in the absence of oxygen. This heat creates a chemical decomposition that produces products which are marketable and environmentally friendly. Enefom’s competitive advantage lies in the low capital expenditure required for the continuous pyrolysis process and the low operating costs compared with competing systems. Its modular system can be manifolded (multiple units of similar size) to match the availability of waste material.
