ENERGE-NWE

The ENERGE project seeks to address, without extensive retrofit or similarly intrusive and costly innovations, the issue of excessive and unnecessary energy use in post-primary schools in the North-West Europe regions. ENERGE focuses on developing an integrated & adaptable strategy to raise awareness of energy usage, promote responsible energy usage & avoid excess energy consumption in existing post-primary schools, supported by targeted physical interventions that combine a web based platform and building sensors (e.g. electrical, thermal etc) with behavioural studies and new educational approaches that enable schools engage in energy and greenhouse gas mitigation. ENERGE is a project co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the umbrella of INTERREG NWE with the application code NWE827.
