Joint Stock Company ENERGOCOM is a 100% state-owned company, registered in Chisinau–the capital city of the Republic of Moldova. We started our activity in 2004, and over the years our company developed several branches of activity. We are traders for gas and electricity and we are also responsible for gas storage.
During these difficult times and the energy crisis that the entire Europe is facing, we reinvented ourselves to be more efficient and productive to provide the best quality services to Moldovan citizens and companies.
Now ENERGOCOM is:
•securing gas and electricity supplies to Moldova in emergencies and crises
• centralised electricity supplier in Moldova
•aggregating renewable energy production in Moldova
•maintaining and operating Moldova’s strategic stocks of gas,
•member of OPCOM and BRM energy commodity exchange platforms
•active user of gas pipeline infrastructure in Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Greece (including IGB - Interconnector Greece - Bulgaria and TAP - Trans Adriatic Pipeline)
•active user of electricity network infrastructure in Moldova and Romania.
In 2022 ENERGOCOM became the sole beneficiary of an EBRD 300 000 000 EUR financial facility dedicated to security purchases of gas for Moldova.
