ENERGRID Ltd. a sole shareholder company, has been active in the sale of electricity since 2001 and in natural gas since 2008. Founded by Gavio Group, whose core business is the construction and management of infrastructure networks (highways, railways, airports), EnerGrid entered the market as an energy supplier following the liberalization of the electricity market launched by the European Community In 1996. In 2016, EneGrid has been acquired by the US HII Group (Holding for International Investments). EnerGrid is among the protagonists of the electricity market with consolidated turnover of 523 million euros, the company today is a company that supplies over 45,000 utilities nationwide, for a total of about 3 TWh sold in 2015 .
