Our association, the Energy Data Innovation Hub (EDIH), is dedicated to promoting sustainable innovation in the energy sector through the opportunities provided by digital transformation and data utilization. We actively support and promote innovative ideas and concepts. We assist our members and partners in implementing forward-looking and sustainable projects and solutions. A key part of our work is the exchange and transfer of knowledge between members and other partners. We strive to build a shared ecosystem that facilitates the active exchange and use of energy data.
Additionally, we operate at the interface between research and industry, aiming to create added value for the various players in the energy sector through our community and commitment. Our goal is to strengthen and promote the innovative capacity of the Swiss energy sector.
The association was founded in 2023 by the organizers of the Energy Data Hackdays, combining the previous activities of the Energy Data Working Group and the Energy Data Hackdays. In addition to our hackathon, the Energy Data Hackdays, we organize 3-4 smaller events and meetings each year. These events are clearly focused on information, exchange, networking, and the development of joint projects.
By collaborating with different players and partners, we aim to utilize synergies through new and additional formats and further strengthen our small ecosystem.
