Energy Mad was initially founded in 2004 with an aim to get five energy saving Ecobulbs® in 50% of the homes in New Zealand and “save all the electricity used by Christchurch homes!” By late 2007, Energy Mad had already achieved this aim. Consequently, Energy Mad now aims to “Making lives better by saving enough electricity to power Europe” This will be achieved through their CFL and LED bulb projects initiatives globally.
