The EPSRC-funded Energy Transfer Technologies Doctoral Training Hub aims to recruit and train up to 60 fully funded PhD students to be the next generation of leaders in energy transfer technologies relevant for defence and other related applications. Working with our academic and industry partners, we aim to provide our students, across the UK, with a variety of expert training, both in-person and online, to support their PhD journey and facilitate cohort building. The Hub is supported by Dstl, and UK companies working in the defence and security sector. The Hub is an ever-growing partnership between a number of Universities and Research Organisations including: The University of Liverpool, Cranfield University, Imperial College London, The University of Southampton and The University of Strathclyde.
