I excel in selecting and utilizing the most suitable technologies for specific processes, ensuring optimal alignment between process requirements and production system capabilities. These technologies encompass agitation, filtration or dialysis, separation, purification (proteins, media, etc.), drying, wide range of extractions (chemical or cosmetic, water or solvent), and more.
With extensive Development Engineering knowledge and expertise, I possess the ability to conceptually design various production systems and solutions, for example: production tanks and bioreactors, relevant filtration systems MF/UF/NF/RO (microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis), tangential flow or dead-end systems, electrodialysis units, dryers and more.
I also excel in production process optimization. This involves determining the appropriate stirring regimes, selecting the right agitator based on the medium's characteristics (low shear, slurry, etc.), choosing and developing the best filtration techniques for the relevant need (separation, purification, recycling), implementing evaporation and drying processes, performing separation with the right centrifuge and the right tune even for most sensitive things such as Cultured Meat for harvest and even perfusion (breaking the cost of production), etc.
I bring vast experience in "Design of Experiments" in order to define process parameters (Operational, significant-yield, critical-quality) and In-Process Control (IPC) measures to well stabilize the process and finding the best technologies for production.
