Welcome to ENGAGE, a transformative 5-year project funded by TAKEDA and led by the University of Nairobi Institute of Infectious and Tropical Diseases (UNITID), in partnership with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and six esteemed regional universities across Kenya.
Our mission at ENGAGE is clear: to ignite and support the next generation of women data scientists. We are dedicated to breaking barriers and inspiring young women and girls, particularly those from underserved backgrounds in rural Kenya, by introducing them to the captivating intersection of data science and public health.
Through our innovative health-focused Data Science, AI and machine learning programs, we are empowering these bright minds to leverage data for positive change in their communities.
