Engage2innovate (E2i) is tackling EU security challenges through comprehensive research and innovative practices. We also aim to promote a collaborative ecosystem among policymakers, researchers, and practitioners while integrating social needs with technological advancements, ensuring a safer future for all. Key areas of focus include: Overcoming implementation Barriers: delving into the complexities of EU security R&I to streamline the adoption of innovative solutions. Harnessing Social Innovation: elevating the role of citizens, communities, and end-users in co-creating security solutions that resonate on a social level. Crafting a social development plan: providing a strategic roadmap for integrating Social Innovation into security R&I, enhancing effectiveness and inclusivity. Introducing the E2i Security R&I Toolbox, a suite of resources aimed at: Promoting Social Innovation and human-centred design principles to foster community engagement in security R&I. Guiding the creation of security solutions that are not only technologically advanced but also socially accepted and widely adopted.
