ENGAS CCS

ENGAS is a family owned company that has been active in natural gas projects in western Slovakia for more than 25 years. The Golianovo field is located 90km north-east of Bratislava, in the centre of Europe. Today, the site is being converted into a CO2 storage (CCS), to support industrial companies of the region, especially those dependent on the use of fossil fuel, in managing their emissions in due respect of the requirements of the Green Deal. Based on substantial amounts of surface and subsurface geological data and the profound knowledge of the site, ENGAS has now signed a Technology Partnership agreement with SLB to get additional professional support in de-risking the storage site through the complete lifecycle. Our Mission Engas strives to enable the achievement of green deal targets and enhance our prospects for a sustainable future by facilitating the collection and injection of CO2 into suitable geological formations.
