Engera USA is a non-profit organization established by doctors, nurses, and volunteers dedicated to advancing healthcare and education in Ethiopia. As the sister organization of Engera.org (founded in 2005) and Engera UK (founded in 2014), we are part of a global effort to improve health outcomes in underresourced communities.
Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of women and children in the Gurage Zone and parts of the Oromia region by collaborating with communities to promote health, prevent disease, and provide effective treatment.
With a strong focus on maternal and child health, we also address the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases through comprehensive, community-driven approaches.
At Engera, we believe in the strength of collaboration. By partnering with local communities and healthcare providers, we co-create sustainable solutions that address their specific needs and challenges.
