Engineering All Sorts

Engineering All Sorts is a very small team of one, which I founded early in 2017. Based in Sydney, Australia, I’m passionate about sharing my enjoyment and experiences of engineering with everyone, regardless of where you are in the world. As we all do, I wear many hats – husband, father, engineer, maker, lifelong learner, and now, your guide through the complex and fascinating landscape of engineering. Engineering All Sorts has been started to help you as an educator to become more confident in engineering concepts and thinking, and to help you grow your STEM capabilities. The format of each video is very grass-roots, just me in front of a whiteboard. This familiar format lets you transfer interesting concepts directly into the classroom setting, saving you time to focus on content. Each series of bite-sized videos focuses on a different topic, and starts with a core video. The core video explains the overall concept. More videos are then organised in a hierarchy or tree structure, each level delving into more detail and building on the core. You can watch as many or as few of the videos as you want. Let inspiration lead you to watch a few videos, or watch the whole series back-to-back, its really up to you! So grab your wrench and your soldering iron and lets get started!
