Engineering Data Management (EDM) is an agile web based, database driven application developed for all kind of plants. This application will improve standardization of data, availability of latest documentation, efficiency of engineering project development and execution and help with safety regulations and test protocols. Based on input and requirements from the customer, it brings together the applicable engineering and maintenance databases within the plant through multiple interconnected modules. This makes it possible to have a high-level overview of available data and to set up an action management for all objects across all disciplines, be it for engineering projects or test protocols. Its functionalities are based on 25 years’ experience of engineering projects and IT and has been in development for over 10 years by Polaris Engineering.
