Engineering.fit( ) is a non-profit organization founded to address the challenges facing African engineering students in gaining research experience. Born out of a firsthand understanding of the deficiencies in mentorship and facilities within African universities, Engineering.fit aims to provide a structured pathway for students to gain invaluable research experience, particularly focusing on the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to solve engineering problems. Mission Engineering.fit is dedicated to providing African engineering students with accessible mentorship and research opportunities, empowering them with the necessary research skills and experience to pursue graduate studies and compete on a global scale. Vision We envision a future where African engineering students have equal access to research experience and opportunities, enabling them to become leaders in their fields and driving innovation and prosperity in their communities. Goal Our goal is twofold: to bridge the gap in research experience among African engineering undergraduates and to contribute to an established body of knowledge by proffering innovative solutions to engineering research problems .
