ENGin

ENGin is a global nonprofit advancing social and economic development in Ukraine by building a critical mass of globally connected, English-fluent citizens. Our innovative online program has connected over 55,000 Ukrainians and volunteers around the world through weekly English conversation and mentorship. Designed to be scalable and replicable, our approach offers a powerful template for emerging democracies to accelerate growth through flexible, low-cost investments in human capital. We blend language learning, cultural exchange, mentorship, and human connection into a multidisciplinary experience that goes beyond existing models. We’re not a language school, cultural exchange, or professional mentorship program, but a blend of all these – reimagined as something entirely new. In just 1 hour a week, our volunteers make a huge impact - helping their students break the language barrier, offering friendship and emotional support, and introducing them to a new culture.
