Our main strength is the field of fluid dynamics, but we are also often confronted with problems from different fields. CONSULTANCY AND TRAINING
Our staff has more than 20 years of experience developing and applying simulation technology, especially in the field of CFD. We want to pass on this experience and will gladly provide consultancy to solve simulation problems.
We offer software independent consultancy, because we do not believe in the one perfect software which fit all problems. Several good open-source tools exist which enable you to work very cost effectively. Open-source also enables to tackle certain specific problems by customising the software. On the other hand there are also good proprietary packages which, in many cases, might be the better choice. We use simulation software on a case by case basis and can help you to choose the best software for you.
HIGH-END CFD
A big part of our work deals with very specific CFD tasks. Often these are tasks which cannot be solved with existing off the shelve software solutions. During such a project, development on the high performance code DrNUM has been commenced. DrNUM is a joint venture with the company numrax GmbH and it enables simulations with more than 100 million cells on a single PC.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Off the shelve software solutions (e.g. commercial CFD or CAE packages) are often not satisfactory. Such packages usually create a significant amount of licence fees and are often not flexible enough to be integrated into existing structures and workflows. You will be surprised that custom simulation software is more efficient and often more cost-effective as well.
