English Without Borders Network

English Without Borders is a project supported by the Embassy of the United States of America and implemented by the NGO Durakhshi Marifat. The goal of EWB is to improve English language instruction and proficiency in Tajikistan. The network will achieve this goal by creating a community of Tajikistan’s English teachers and learners, providing resources and programs for professional development, and facilitating connections both within Tajikistan and with the greater English-speaking world. The EWB project seeks to unite teachers and students of the English language at all levels across Tajikistan, supporting them through peer-to-peer networking, the development of pedagogical materials, online and in-person training sessions, and a train-the-trainers program to reach all corners of the country.
