Enhanced Aircraft De-icing is a project aiming to solve the problem of the amount of time and resources spent on the actual de-icing process at airports. During the winter season, airplanes get covered with a layer of snow that must be removed in order to take off. The use of hoses attached to drones remotely controlled to spray the fluids along the surface of the aircraft. The control station can be positioned away from the application site, and the fluids stored underground. The drone would be controlled by a centralized station with the use of high-definition cameras and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to detect and guarantee that all surfaces have been sprayed.
