EnviCrime Academy (ECA) is an international private training organization dedicated to creating and delivering specialized courses on environmental crime.
The genesis of the EnviCrime Academy can be traced back to the LIFE SATEC Project, which amplifies the role of the 'EnviCrimeNet' network—a consortium of European Law Enforcement Agencies committed to collaborative efforts in combating environmental crime.
EnviCrime Academy is dedicated to empowering professionals in the battle against environmental crime by developing specialized training tools. We achieve this by delivering courses tailored for individuals actively engaged in combating environmental crime.
Our primary goal is to harness expertise from various sources, including universities, law enforcement officers, criminologists, lawyers, and judicial experts. These insights will be channeled to different client segments, including law enforcement agencies at local, regional, and national/international levels with competencies in the prevention/detection of environmental crime. Furthermore, we aim to extend our services to non-governmental organizations (NGOs), environmental professionals (such as those in forestry and coastal protection), and other community services.
