E.ON Energy Projects GmbH, based in Munich and Hamburg, develops, finances, builds and operates customised energy solutions for industrial companies throughout Europe. As part of the E.ON Group and founded in 2000, the company specialises in technology-neutral energy supply concepts that are implemented directly at the customer's site - with the aim of increasing energy efficiency, lowering operating costs and sustainably reducing CO₂ emissions. The service portfolio includes highly efficient combined heat and power (CHP) plants, climate-neutral biomass power plants and innovative, hydrogen-capable energy systems. These solutions are implemented as part of long-term energy contracting models that enable an economically viable and reliable energy supply. With the E.ON IQ Energy® digital platform, E.ON Energy Projects uses advanced methods such as artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to optimise industrial energy processes in real time and further increase security of supply. Through extensive investments in Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), E.ON Energy Projects responds to the growing demand from industrial customers for decarbonisation solutions, thereby ensuring the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of energy supply for energy-intensive production sites. Since its foundation, projects with an electrical output of over 1 gigawatt have been realised in several European countries.
