EoSSENTIAL is a space data and service startup delivering Earth observation applications suitable for land monitoring, resource management and business development. Surveillance of large or fragmented forest and agricultural areas or huge industrial plants cannot be controlled simultaneously and systematically which leads to bigger expenses, illegal exploitation and inaccurate resource tracking. Also, decision makers always seek the new opportunity to expand their main production. This process includes searching for a new field for planting their product, searching the product that is the most suitable for their land or looking for the optimal locations for new power plants. This is a time and resource consuming process often missing data-driven background. Our award winning service, "Gemini", assists you in finding the most optimal location for your expansion and optimal crop type for your land based on your current locations and success of the yield, through custom made machine/deep learning models. Our goal is to design and develop solutions that are EoSSENTIAL for our existence and we believe that everyone would benefit from using them, especially our ecosystem. To compliment this goal, the team has a strong background in software development, forestry, and geography. The idea that led to the foundation of EoSSENTIAL was born at the Copernicus Hackathon Zagreb in 2019 where we won a first place and a ticket to Copernicus Accelerator 2020 Program.
