FLexible Energy xChange (FLEX) Markets use a two-part retail tariff design that 1) establishes symmetrically priced, buy/sell, tenders that create incentives for electrical end users, of all types, to align the operations of their electrical consuming and producing devices with time-dependent grid constraints, and 2) support the necessary system upgrades and workforce adoption to meet the added constraints placed on our grid by meeting 100% decarbonization goals.
