Ephindo Energy is an Indonesian focused energy company, with substantial coal bed methane (CBM) interests. It has interests in seven existing Production Sharing Contracts (PSC’s), six of which it operates or jointly-operates.
Ephindo was the first company to be awarded an Indonesian CBM PSC (Sekayu, in 2008) and is striving to also be the first commercial CBM producer, something it is on track to do in 2012. It is one of the largest owners of CBM permits in Indonesia, with net acreage of 2915 sq. km, and is the leading CBM operator in the country.
Ephindo has established a team of CBM experts from around the world and a powerful team of highly-motivated oil-and-gas professionals to open a new frontier in the development of alternative energy in Indonesia.
