Founded in 1981 in Paris by a pioneering group of five paediatric orthopaedic surgeons, the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS) has grown into a leading international organisation dedicated to advancing the care of children with musculoskeletal conditions. Our Mission EPOS is committed to improving the quality of care for children with orthopaedic disorders by fostering collaboration among professionals involved in paediatric care, promoting excellence in education and training, and sharing and disseminating the latest scientific knowledge and innovations. Our Community What began with just 13 participants at our first meeting in Paris has evolved into a vibrant global community of more than 700 paediatric orthopaedic surgeons. Through scientific meetings, educational initiatives, and research collaboration, EPOS continues to shape the future of paediatric orthopaedics across Europe and beyond.
