EPSRC eFutures Network+

Building and nurturing a network which aims to support high-quality and exciting research; facilitate new connections between industry and academia; and address research challenges in a real-world context. Our home is in electronics / electronic engineering, but we are outward looking: we enjoy working across disciplines to innovate at the frontiers of technology; and to communicate the impact that electronics is having as an enabling technology. Current interests include healthcare (including biomechanics & novel healthcare technologies for diagnostics, monitoring and treatment); engineering the path to zero carbon; neuromorphic / brain-inspired computing; HPC; novel hardware platforms, including for embedded AI / AI on chip; flexible electronics & novel materials; and Equality in STEM+. We aim to look after our entire network (from helping with connections, to offering grants, to putting on events with world-wide expert speakers). Queries and suggestions welcome!
