Introduction We provide leadership and management consulting services in the space of learning and development, from diagnosis to delivering complex solutions. EQ-Skill believes in investment in people that has, without exception, significant impact on the level of organization. EQ signifies our understanding of the importance of continuous improvement of personal competences and implies the unique method of horse (equine) mediated trainings, alike. The usual approach of our cooperation is carried out in the form of learning systems and is preceded by a thorough preparatory and diagnostics phase. The stages of development build on each other, and are in line with the actual business strategy and with the special organizational and cultural characteristics of our partners. Being either coaches, facilitators or trainers during a mandate we target to transform behaviors and attitudes to attain learning organizations. Our programmes create an experiential learning environment in which each participant’s natural talents and competencies are revealed. Development focused leadership is again a solid target in our assignments. Besides, our company is committed to a kind of methodological eclecticism. EQ-Skill deliberately likes to use coaching, team coaching elements (e.g.: Action Learning) where real and existing individual or organizational issues are discussed, adequate and necessary actions carefully planned and taken back to everyday work. EQ-Skill was the first company in Hungary to develop the foundations of Horse Mediated Training Programmes. Since then we have verified that this methodology can be indeed effectively used in the skills development of leaders and managers. In 2008 we obtained the international equestrian trainer licence (HorseDream®) and became a member of the European Association of Horse Assisted Education (EAHAE).
