EQE Control OOD

EQE Control OOD is a company of ABS Consulting, established in 2000 with the goal to provide licensed supervision services in design and construction, as a subsidiary of EQE Bulgaria AD. The company provides consulting services in construction for complex international projects not only as licensed design and construction supervisor, but also as FIDIC Engineer and Lender's Engineer. The English speaking team is skilled in preparation of tender documentation, permit management, design and construction management, project coordination and FIDIC claims management. EQE Control OOD was the only company in Bulgaria licensed as supervisor of nuclear power plants in the period when separate licenses for different types of projects were required (1999-2003). Besides many supervision projects related to radioactive treatment, the company has supervised the newest and most modern power plant in South East Europe 600 MW net TPP AES Galabovo (€ 1,3 billion), the largest wind farm in Bulgaria 156 MW Saint Nikola Wind Farm near Kavarna, 16 solar parks (Clients Samsung, CEZ, Astroenergy Solar Korea etc.), 2x5 MW Biomass Plant in Bansko. The company has supervised a lot infrastructure projects with private, World Bank and EC financing (e.g. many projects on border crossings, Dryanovo Landfill Cell 1, 522000 sq m). EQE Control has supervised the design and construction of more than 200 000 sq m luxury residential and office buildings, including 176 m high Europe Tower Sofia and Business Park Varna. Based on the experience with FIDIC and Phare contracts, EQE has developed a quality system in conformity with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. EQE Control is ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified. In 2007 BACEA (Bulgarian Association of Consulting Engineers and Architects, member of FIDIC and EFCA) nominated EQE Control as Consultant of the year.
