EQRA is Hargeisa's first integrated community space. Our programs reach thousands of people each year and continue to grow in the most exciting and organic ways.
Through workshops, courswork and events we offer training and development in specialised, under serviced and extracurricular areas of education.
With accessibility at the heart of our work, EQRA Centre offers both paid and free services to our community. We are incredibly grateful that we get to work and collaborate with some of Somaliland's most talented and skilled teachers, artists, content creators, academics, and business gurus to provide these services!

Born out of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in Somaliland, EQRA Centre was established in 2021 by sisters Ayan and Mona Liban. As a women-led social enterprise, EQRA is driven by a deep passion to uplift Hargeisa’s community through the arts.
