EOP - Equal opportunities project

The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology is proud to introduce a dedicated project under the auspices of the Counseling and Support Center, part of the Dean's Office. This initiative is specifically designed to support Arab students during their crucial first year of pursuing a BA degree. Our comprehensive program comprises four integral sections: - Academic Support: We offer workshops conducted in Arabic, covering the subjects that students encounter in their first and second semesters. These workshops, led by outstanding students, include solving exam questions to ensure thorough preparation and understanding. - Social Integration: Each first-semester student is paired with a tutor who provides personalized guidance and support. Tutors assist students in navigating challenges, familiarizing them with the Technion environment, and offering valuable study tips. - Career Development: Our career department is dedicated to helping students secure employment opportunities. We conduct workshops on interview skills, CV preparation, and other essential job-seeking strategies. - Cultural and Social Activities: To foster a vibrant and inclusive community, we organize a variety of activities, including dance events, faculty night events, and more. These events are designed to enrich the cultural and social experiences of our students. Through these initiatives, we aim to empower Arab students, helping them achieve academic excellence, social integration, career success, and cultural enrichment during their time at the Technion.
