After more than 20 years of in-house employment, as an employment lawyer and as an HR professional in the field of Employee & Industrial Relations, Valentin launched his own consulting firm, ER Solutions, dedicated to assisting employers with a wide variety of employee and industrial relations matters. The services offered include: Workplace Investigations – Conducting investigations as well as providing training, guidance and resources that will ensure employers are equipped to conduct any investigations fairly and efficiently. Workplace conflict and grievance resolution – Helping employers resolve any workplace conflicts and employee grievances, by way of facilitated discussions, behavioural agreements and frameworks that will aim to ensure healthy workplace relations. Dispute resolution – Assisting employers with the resolution of industrial disputes and key stakeholder management involved in actual or potential disputes. Disciplinary and underperformance matters - Assisting employers deal with disciplinary and underperformance matters and providing best practice frameworks, resources, training and coaching to deal with such matters fairly and efficiently. HR case management transformation – From assessing an employer’s HR case management practices, through identifying opportunities for improvement, to developing and implementing agreed improvement initiatives. Bargaining Support / Negotiation of enterprise agreements - Assisting employers navigate all stages of the bargaining process from commencing bargaining, through negotiating an enterprise agreement, to obtaining FWC approval. ER/IR compliance - Assisting employers become compliant with their applicable legislation and industrial instruments, such as their modern awards or enterprise agreements. Restructures, redundancies, and other significant workplace changes – Assisting employers with planning and rolling out all HR processes involved in the introduction of significant workplace changes.
