We are the Erasmus Hellenic Society (EHS), the association for all the Greek and Cypriots students of the Erasmus University. EHS was founded on October of 2021 and has many different goals on many different levels. Professionally-wise, EHS acts on three dimensions.
First, we organize career-related events, main participants of which are Greek and Cypriot professionals who studied at Erasmus University and now work in The Netherlands or abroad. We believe that a single thought, piece of advice, or connection can amazingly improve one's life. We thus foster creative discussions, exchange of valuable advice, and networking, through the aid of the Greek and Cypriot alumni of Erasmus.
Second, we organize seminars and workshops that aim to improve the soft skills of our members. Communication skills, leadership, team-work, public speaking, decision making, and time management are crucial skills that if one possesses is in a very favourable position in the job market and in life in general. We encourage people who we know and who master these skills to share their knowledge with all the members of EHS.
Third, we organize events with big companies in Greece, Cyprus, and The Netherlands. In this way, we help our members meet the recruiters of large corporations, get some speed-interviews and find their next internships and/or jobs.
