Unity in Diversity: Promoting Religious Inclusivity
in Greek Muslim Education – UPRISE.
The UPRISE project addresses the challenging problems of religious inclusivity in Greek state primary education, focusing on the Muslim minority students of Thrace. The project aims to fill the gaps regarding religious inclusion, support educators in acquiring the competencies necessary to enhance inclusiveness and make policy recommendations toward long-lasting changes in Greek education. The main goals are: Fostering Religious Inclusion of Muslim Students, Empowerment of Teachers to Address Religious Diversity,
Informed Policy Development for Sustainable Inclusivity, and Encouraging Intercultural Understanding and Civic Engagement.
