The Erasmus Social Design Hub (ESDH) is an interdisciplinary team of social scientific, design and visual ethnographic researchers with expertise in the domains of governance, spatial planning and sustainability. This core team is backed up by colleagues with expertise in the areas of participation, behavioural change and complexity. The EGDS is part of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Our mission is to generate impact by designing interventions for complex societal issues and sharing the knowledge we generate along the way. In doing so we theoretically and practically give shape to public administration as a design discipline.
