ERD Fab (Pty) Ltd is a BBBEE Level 2 company specializing in the FABRICATION, REFURBISHMENT and REPAIR of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Boilers, Economisers, Tanks, Silos, Pressurised Systems, Ducting and General Structural Steelwork, predominately for the chemical and petrochemical industries. ERD Fab has a CIDB Level 5 ME (Mechanical Engineering) grading. ERD Fab has completed various NEC3 project contracts and has the capabilities and experience to be a Principal Contractor. Principal Contractor managing sub contractors like NDT, Civils, Sandblast and painting, Crane and rigging etc. ERD Fab also renders a boilermaking and welding maintenance service in accordance with a unit rate contract to Sasol Chemical Industries, Sasol Midlands, Natref and Sasol Technology. Other services include Non-Destructive Examinations and Localised Heat Treatment. ERD Fab is an ISO 3834-2 Certified Company and the Quality System is ISO 9001:2015 compliant. As a preferred supplier of services to Sasol, we are familiar with ASME, API, BS, EN and AD-Merkblatter codes as well as the Sasol engineering codes and specifications. ERD Fab is a NOSA five star rated Company with an integrated team to execute erection contracts, site maintenance and turnkey projects. We have sufficient capacity to handle small to large projects. Our Naledi workshop consists of 1500m2 floor space with eight overhead cranes. ERD Fab (Pty) Ltd operates a certified ISO 9001:2015 quality system. The company also boasts a ISO3834-2 certification for its welding processes. These include 160 different welding procedures that encompass procedures for Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel including Duplex and Super Duplex, Nickel, Hastelloy C, Alloy 600 and 800, Monel and Chromemolly.
