Established in 1997
In 1997 designer Lotte Erfurt Hjorth and CEO Jacob Hjorth decided something new had to happen, and the decision of founding the new brand erfurt was made. The idea from the beginning was to create a well known brand with a taste of luxury and high quality to continue the life philosophies of the two entrepreneurs.
The experiences from working with different Scandinavian fashion brands are used to enlighten the new concept which we today know as erfurt luxury accessories.
Designer Lotte Erfurt Hjorth gets her inspiration from travels abroad to many different places in the world but also from her day to day life in Denmark where she lives with Jacob and their 4 lovely children.
Especially the family mansion and country estate since 1850 situated in the Danish country site is a nest of many ideas and thoughts. The place was handed over to the Erfurt Hjorth breach of the family years ago, and the place has been renovated and redesigned in the spirit of the two entrepreneurs.
Today the erfurt luxury accessories line is sold across the world and in some of the most prestigious and well known fashion stores in capitals and large cities to cosy country shops in Scandinavia.
The strategy for the future is to continue the emphasis on designing accessories in fantastic variations and distributing them to selected retailers world wide.
