I have drafted and prosecuted patent applications relating to a range of technologies, including recombinant DNA and proteins, vaccines, agricultural biotechnology, biomanufacturing processes, pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical formulations, microfluidic devices and systems, medical devices, food sciences, cannabis-related products and processes, mechanical devices, and consumer products.
I have served as an adjunct professor of law teaching patent law and practice at UNC School of Law, Campbell University School of Law, and Wake Forest University School of Law.
My scientific training includes a Ph.D. in neuroscience with research and graduate coursework in physiology, pharmacology, drug delivery systems, cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, neuroanatomy, physiological psychology, and neurology.
