Ergi Press

Ergi Press was born from a desire to platform upcoming queer creators from the North and other intersecting identities. Over the span of two years, we published three issues of our digital and print DIY zine under the Ergi Press name, alongside a first full-length collection, 'TRICKSTER: AN ANTHOLOGY OF QUEER MISCHIEF'. Set up in 2021 by a group of MA Publishing and Creative Writing students from York St John, the team has worked to platform unpublished LGBTQ+ creatives, breaking down exclusionary barriers along the way. Although Ergi Press announced they were going on an indefinite hiatus in the Summer of 2023, the team are still active in creative spaces in their local communities and online.
