Quantifying ergonomic stressors results in the successful application of ergonomics to industrial and office environments. Using these results, the impact on improvements on existing and new work environments, workstation lay outs, equipment, machinery and tools can be established.
Applying ergonomic principles in a company improves the efficiencies and comfort of the workforce, whilst increasing safety. Increased productivity combined with a reduction in employee down-time usually leads to an excellent return on investment.
