Rodrigo Velasco is an architect and urban planner, graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana, with a master's degree in City Management and Transformation from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He was a recipient of the FONCA "Jóvenes Creadores" grant in 2010-2011.
Since 2021, he has been a tenured professor at the School of Architecture at Universidad Iberoamericana, and previously taught at Universidad Anáhuac from 2008 to 2020. He has also been invited to teach at CENTRO and at the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM.
He has delivered conferences and workshops nationally, and his work has been exhibited at the Center for the Arts in San Luis Potosí, the Vasconcelos Library in Mexico City, the University Museum of Science and Art (MUCA) at UNAM, and the International Architecture Biennale of Argentina (BIA-AR).
Since 2020, he has been a partner at Archetika, a boutique real estate consulting firm based in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, where he also serves as the Director of the Architecture Department. Additionally, he is co-director of El Asunto Urbano, a platform dedicated to promoting architecture, art, and the city.
