ERZ

The story started in 2012 when young Sergey Miachin (co-founder and Game Director of ERZ) developed his first game at a hackathon. The idea was to develop a game with sticky gameplay just in two days. Thus, the game called Mines was born. It had just one simple mechanic: mining crystals, and it is this mechanic, which became the core gameplay. Through the next ten years, Sergey remained the single developer, but he succeeded to engage thousands of gamers with zero marketing. The game matured (as well as Sergey) and turned into an MMO with an open underground world, its economy, politics, and order of life. Despite simple graphics and not very friendly UX/UI, players continued to return again and again. Dozens of clans were founded, which caused the saturation of political life within the game and led to ornate situations involving hundreds of real people fighting for their positions and opinions. The Mines game has become the lifestyle for thousands of players, who lived, developed, and built new connections within the game. The community became the crucial value of Mines. Sergey made several attempts to stop the game, but the community continued to support and develop it, and Sergey was forced to return, as he could not leave such a level of appreciation and recognition. In 2022, the new phase started. It became clear that the game hit the ceiling of its development, time goes by, technologies change, players change and a breakthrough is needed. The new project was named - ERZ. ERZ is a social and economic multiplayer sandbox for every PC and smartphone. Its goals are to keep the adventurous spirit of the original game and enable a wide audience to join the unique experience: new graphics, new UX/UI, improved game design, cross-platform gameplay (PC, web, smartphone), and many more unique features, which will be revealed later... and not only for gamers!
