The ES VICIS Foundation is a non-profit operational organization based in Switzerland, created in 2016. Our mission is to revitalize small rural communities in disadvantaged regions by reversing youth migration to urban areas and transforming these villages into economically resilient hubs. We turn challenges into opportunities by creating local jobs, attracting newcomers, and fostering sustainable development through economic growth, a welcoming environment, and accessible housing. We are committed to inspiring a mindset shift by identifying products and services that the region demands, moving beyond traditional agribusiness. This approach creates new avenues for business growth and job creation. As digitalization transforms the economy, we also foster innovation in rural areas, helping businesses expand locally and globally. Our mission is to bridge the gap between rural and urban areas by promoting decentralized development and fostering sustainable solutions in rural communities that enhance people's lives and protect the environment. Through the "Welcome to My Village" program, based on a proven 6-phase model and cross-sector coalitions, we provide access to essential services like healthcare, education, and connectivity in countryside settlements. Our digital platform supports projects monitoring and knowledge sharing as core activities and is an effective tool for empowering local partners.
